This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Peterborough (the
“City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for GROW City of Peterborough
Organics Facility Operations (hereinafter referred to as The Facility) as further
described in Section D.1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

The City is looking for creative proposals from experienced Contractors for the
Operation of their new Source Separated Organics Facility utilizing Gore Technology.
Waste reduction and diversion are priorities for the City and we are looking for
proposals that will help them achieve their long-term goals through innovative
processes and facility optimization.
