Through this ITT, the City is seeking to retain the services of a qualified General Contractor, (“GC”), to complete the following work in accordance with all details, requirements, specifications and drawings set out in or attached to this ITT:

(a)  Construct the expansion of the Peterborough Airport underground fire water reservoir and connection with the existing Reservoir;

(b)  Install pipework inside the reservoir and in the pump station building;

(c)  Construct the new fire pumping station building;

(d)  Construct a new access driveway to the pumping station and ditch crossing with culvert;

(e)  Construct a new section of the underground fire water main and connection with the existing fire water main;

(f)  Construct piping to enable connections of the temporary fire water pumps to the fire water distribution network;

(g)  Install temporary fire water pumps;

(h)  Install temporary heaters in the pumping station building;

(i)  Construct the underground sanitary sewer from the pumping station connecting to the existing sewer;

(j)  Construct underground cable ducts;

(k)  Construct the pumping station sanitary sewer service connection to the existing sewer; and

(l)  Site drainage and grading.
