Notice of Intent to Award This shall serve as notice that the Corporation of the City of Peterborough (the “City”) intends to award a contract for supply of data to a vendor. Before awarding a contract, the City is issuing this Notice of Intent to Award (NIA) to give other vendors who may be interested in bidding to submit a Statement of Capabilities. If other potential vendor(s) submit a Statement of Capabilities during the NIA posting period, the City may, in its sole discretion, undertake a public bid solicitation process in order to award a contract to a vendor to meet the City’s requirements. If no vendor submits a Statement of Capabilities that meets the City’s requirements on or before the closing date stated below, the City may, in its sole discretion, proceed with the award to the pre-identified vendor. Description of the City’s Requirement The City requires a company to supply and deliver additional 911 data from other data sources to better inform responders in emergencies. For the City to consider awarding suppliers of alternative systems, it will consider at a minimum:
The City intends to award the contract for supply of additional 911 data to the following vendor: RapidSOS Inc. 3 Park Ave, Floor 22 New York City, NY. 10016 Deadline for Statement of Capabilities The submission deadline for this NIA is Monday, July 13, 2026 at 2:00:00 p.m. ET. The City will only consider submissions received from respondents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the NIA directly from City’s public purchasing portal. To contact the City or ask questions in relation to this NIA, interested parties must submit questions electronically through the Bidding System. The City will not accept any communications by any other means, except as specifically stated in the NIA. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “NIA Contact” will be: Michelle Coltman Corporate Buyer Tenders@peterborough.ca Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials or other representatives of the City, other than the NIA Contact, concerning matters regarding this NIA. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s submission. |
