The City is seeking Proposals for the management of a suite of waste diversion services for the City and County, unless otherwise noted, including curbside, for City and County, and rural depot and campground collection, County only, of recyclables, post-collection services including: transfer, if applicable processing and marketing of recyclables, operation of the 24/7 Recycling Drop-Off Depot. The City is looking for creative Proposals that will ensure the continued effectiveness of the current programs, while seeking to provide further diversion improvements in partnership with the successful Proponent. This document contains information on the current status and method in which collection, processing and overall management of services is being undertaken. The City and County are open to Proposals that may involve an alternative approach but will achieve the goals of these very important programs. Note: This RFP involves a Two Envelope Process |
