This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Peterborough (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for RFP-31-24 Managed Cyber Detection and Response Services, as further described in Section B.1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

The City is dedicated to safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its digital assets and requires a comprehensive Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services solution that supports advanced threat detection, continuous 24x7 monitoring, and a strong analysis capability.

The primary objectives in seeking an MDR partner include:
a. Enhancing existing cyber security operations to better prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats and events.
b. Supporting the continuous monitoring, analysis, reporting and mitigation of security events on a 24x7x365 basis.
