Through this RFP, the City of Peterborough is seeking to retain the services of a qualified Consultant to: a. Re-assess all previously documented Asbestos Containing Material (“ACM”) to evaluate any changes in the condition. This shall be done annually for approximately 39 facilities and could increase to a maximum of 45 facilities. Attachment 1 is a summary of the facilities involved in the survey, including their age and associated floor area. b. Input all information into an Asbestos Management Database (“AMD”) and maintain the database on behalf of the City. Existing information shall be provided through Word or Excel spreadsheet for upload into the AMD. c. Perform Hazardous Building Materials Surveys (“HBMS”) for construction and renovation projects, as required, complete with an HBMS report, specifications for the abatement of the hazardous materials and project management for the abatement and/or demolition work for each project. |
