This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the City of Peterborough (the “City”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide General Contractor (GC) Services for Future Construction and Renovation Projects for the City of Peterborough as further described in Section B.1 of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

This RFSQ is open to all interested GCs who wish to be considered as qualified bidders for all future Construction and Renovation projects valued between $10,000 - $1,000,000 for the City of Peterborough for the five-year period commencing April 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2025. All those interested in qualifying must meet all of the conditions and requirements as detailed in this document and only those qualified GC’s will be invited as the select group of GCs permitted to bid on all future projects during this term.

This qualification is for all bidders wishing to bid as a General Contractor (GC) only and is not intended to solicit for trades or Sub Contractors.

This RFSQ outlines the responsibilities and requirements for the submission, the selection process, the related conditions, and specifications. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any GC who fails to provide all mandatory information, as required by this RFSQ.

Those GCs who consider their firms as having the necessary qualifications are requested to submit all documents as outlined in this RFSQ. All information submitted may be verified. In the event that it is determined that any of the information submitted is inaccurate or misleading, your firm may be disqualified from the RFSQ. Incomplete information may limit your firm’s ability to qualify.

Nothing in this document should, in any way, be construed to be a condition or term of any yet to be issued Invitation to Tender (ITT) or Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the scope or conditions of projects and this procurement, in any manner, or to discontinue the RFSQ process completely.
